Catalogue Search - How To

In addition to a card catalogue held in the library, many of the books (over 19,000) are now searchable online.

This database is searchable. Press and hold the control button followed by the letter f (ctl+f) to open the Find window in your browser. Enter the word(s) you are looking for e.g. Larkin or consecutive words in the title.

The first instance of the word Larkin will be highlighted. Clicking on the down arrow icon will bring up the second instance of the word, and so on. If the word displays in highlighted red then the word you are looking for is not in the spreadsheet so you may need to try a different word(s).

There are 4 different sorts available - By Author / By Title / By Dewey / By Date Added - use the [Tabs] at the bottom of the sheet to change the sort order. Allow up to 10 seconds for the screen to refresh. so clicking on the [By Date Added] link you will see the latest books to be added to our collection.
